How to find your Steam Deck's hardware specs

Curious about what's inside your Steam Deck? Can't remember if you have the 512GB or 1TB model?
Valve gives you two very easy ways to check — on the Steam Deck itself, and on the web.
One thing to note: either of these options will generally only list your Steam Deck's original components; if you've modded the device and swapped in new components, those changes likely won't be reflected.
- On the device: - Press the device's Steam button. This will open a nav bar on the left
- Tap the System menu
- Scroll down to the Hardware section — everything in your Steam Deck should be listed there.
- Online:
If you have access to the Steam account associated with the device, you should be able to visit this page on any computer and see a full profile of what's inside your Steam Deck.
If while looking around your specs you decide it's time for a newer model — like, say, one with more storage or an OLED display — Tiptop can help. We'll give you an offer for your original Steam Deck and instantly give you credit to buy a new one… or a Meta Quest… or a new headset.. or a new keyboard, or any one of countless gadgets we offer through the Tiptop shop.
